The Columbus Foundation is launching an initiative to foster "community-building conversations" in offices, homes, libraries and other locations throughout the city.
The Aug. 30 event dubbed " The Big Table" will facilitate conversations among community officials and residents, including business executives, students and "others throughout our community," about the challenges Columbus faces and the strengths it offers. The conversations will not emphasize solutions, but should generate "authentic civic energy," according to a the foundation.
