A successful giving event hosted by the Columbus Foundation is coming back this fall.
The Big Give will return Oct. 10-11, a 26-hour online rally that this year will seek donors for 1,000 nonprofits in 10 counties in Central Ohio.
The Columbus Foundation will hold The Big Give on Oct. 10.
An online-focused event, The Big Give lets donors contribute at the foundation’s “Giving Store” that has a database of 1,000 local nonprofits.
All the gifts received during the event will be bolstered on a pro rata basis, thanks to a bonus pool of about $1.3 million from corporate donations. And the Columbus Foundation will further cover all credit card fees associated with each transaction so that 100 percent of donations will go to the chosen nonprofits.
