COLUMBUS, OH (May 23, 2016)—Carter Hatch has been named Planned Giving Officer for Donor Services and Development at The Columbus Foundation, effective May 31, 2016.
As a Planned Giving Officer, Hatch will work with the Foundation’s current and prospective donors and professional advisors to match their charitable interests with effective giving strategies.
“Carter is a proven leader with experience working with clients who are focused on philanthropic and investment solutions,” said Angela G. Parsons, J.D., CAP®, Vice President for Donor Services and Development at The Columbus Foundation. “She will be a great addition to our team of highly skilled professionals who serve as trusted philanthropic advisors to individuals, families, and businesses passionate about making a difference in our community.”
Columbus is my hometown, and I am dedicated to building the Foundation’s endowment on behalf of future generations.

Hatch, who grew up in Upper Arlington, has worked with clients at J.P. Morgan in both New York City and Palo Alto for the past six years. She holds Series 7 and Series 63 certifications, and is fulfilling the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) education requirements.
Most recently, Hatch served as an Associate Investment Specialist for J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Palo Alto. Previously, she was based in New York City in J.P. Morgan’s Global Wealth Management area as an Investments Business Management Associate.
She is a graduate of Colgate University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree with a dual concentration in economics and Spanish.
